How to make roasted brussel sprouts – vegan recipes – low carb – cooking brussel sprouts – brussels

what’s up guys welcome back to the channel I’m going to be making some Brussels sprouts today real simple recipe we’re going to be roasting them and now a lot of you guys probably didn’t say you don’t like Brussels sprouts or you know you don’t like the way they taste but when you roast them it makes the big difference in the flavor besides you know if you have them steamed or boiled they’re definitely taste a lot better roasted so basically what we have here is about 2 pounds of Brussels sprouts and then I have some coconut oil I’m gonna be using some crushed red pepper some Himalayan salt and this is my secret ingredient this is actually garlic that I have put through the food processor with some olive oil and I made it into like a puree I’m going to show you guys on a later video how to do this really simple I just buy the garlic already peeled and I put it through a food processor with olive oil and it’s amazing for for cooking if you like garlic so basically what we’re gonna do first is you know we take over Brussels sprouts after rounds a little water and it cut the end off of them and then we’re gonna cut them in half down the middle so that’s basically how you get them ready set them aside really simple this is a great dish to pair up with any type of meat or anything like that and Brussels sprouts are really great and nutrients they got a lot of fiber they got a lot of from potassium calcium so they’re really really great vegetable to include in your recipes they’ve got a little bit of carbs but they have high fiber which offsets that a bit so alright guys so once your brussel sprouts like cut in half and you got the ends cut off of them it’s gonna take about three tablespoons of coconut oil put them in a pan about a half a teaspoon a quarter of a teaspoon actually of Himalayan pink salt you can use whatever soil you have they use garlic powder if you don’t have this this garlic paste I’m using about 1/2 a teaspoon of garlic paste and if you like a little bit of heat like I do you can use some crushed red pepper just add to taste then I’m gonna set this up on the stovetop to melt and we’re gonna toss our Brussels sprouts in this so now we’re gonna do is we’re gonna take our coconut oil mixture and you guys can also use butter for this remember if you’re gonna use butter just make sure you’re not using margarine use grass-fed butter or natural butter and then we’re gonna pour it over a Brussels sprouts I’m gonna add a little bit more of chili flakes then we’re gonna toss them get them nice and coated and I ended up making only about a pound because it was just too much to eat and you want to make sure you put them face down on your baking sheet like so and I promise you guys this tastes a lot different and if you had just plain old boiled or steamed Brussels sprouts so once you have your Brussels sprouts with the oil mixture you’re gonna put them in the oven for 410 at 410 degrees for about 20 minutes or so it’s ten minutes we’ll take them out and shake them up a little bit all right guys what your Brussels sprout should look like when we are done basically they should look like this when you’re done beautiful golden color and I’m just going to take them with a pair of tongs and place them on your plate you can add some Parmesan cheese on top if you like but like I said god I guarantee you this is a lot different tasting done the boil boring Brussels sprouts that many of you don’t like and I don’t blame you and you can pair this up with any kind of meat or anything else that you like no perfect poquito dieting has got a lot of fiber a lot of potassium calcium and other nutrients in it and yeah you have a guy that’s basically what it looks like I hope you guys enjoy the video and I hope to see you on the next one remember to subscribe to the channel and if you need any supplements come check out our website just a muscle calm
