Hey guys welcome to another Windows
troubleshooting tutorial. Today we're going to talk about a problem that I've
been ignoring for a long time in Windows and that is whenever I start Windows
there are all these programs that automatically run at the start and it
slows down my startup process a lot and I just want to disable them from running
because I can always run them later if I want to but I just don't want them to be
executed at the beginning so what you do is you bring up this run window which
you can just bring up by pressing the Windows key + R or you can go to the
Start menu and click run and then that'll bring up this dialog box and I
want you to type in MS config and then you're going to click OK and what's
going to happen is it'll bring up the system configuration tool and what
you're going to click on is startup so click on the startup tab and this lists
all the programs that you have installed on your computer and you can simply
unclick anything you don't want it to run initially so for example if I don't
want to run this Adobe updater I would untick that and then that's not going
to run every time I start Windows so really you can probably untick a whole
lot of stuff I don't want to run Google Drive for example so untick anything
that you don't want initially and then they wouldn't and then they won't run
when you start the computer ok I hope this helps you guys to speed up your
startup process I'll see you guys later thanks for watching goodbye.
